General information before treatment

Please do not consume any solid food 6 hours prior to internal medicine and gastroenterology consultations, either any liquids 2 hours before them. You should not eat anything 8 hours before gastroscopy, which requires special preparation, which we should discuss in person at one of the consultations before the examination.

It is worth bringing all previous medical records, discharge reports and other documents containing medical information to the consultation, because these can greatly help the establishment of the right medical opinion and the determination of the optimal treatment.
